Finally a drawing that I successfully incorporated my new smudging technique using stubs instead of fingers! I made two previous attempts, not shown, but here the effects of smoother blending are most apparent in the shirt. Her eyes are a little light on the scanner, although they don't look so much on the drawing (probably with the graphite reflection?). I've been working hard to try to improve my techniques, and I think this one came out alright

The silky flowing hair was inspired by a certain someone who has similarly sexy long hair...

3B-2H Derwent Medium Drawing Pencils on Strathmore Medium Drawing Paper. The scanner forced a 8.5"*11" crop, and the original is slightly taller. About 6-8 hours.
